blue-noiSaturday MARCH 11th join Candeo’s own Ms. Shepard and the Apprentice Elements, Local Entrepreneurs, Dinosaurs and the Phoenix Astronomical Society for a Night Full of Scientific Inspiration!

There will be hands on science, experiments, games, an obstacle course,kids_labcoats_science_-_google_search human sized hamster balls, Kona Ice, Pizza, dinosaurs and telescopes for stargazing.

5:00 GATES OPEN Entry is $5.00 per person and can be purchased at the gate the night of the event. Kids under 4 are free. Entry includes access to all science activities, shows, inflatables & telescopes.

5:00 – 7:00  View Candeo 5th Grade Science Fair Entries in the Gym. Visit entrepreneur tables dinos-2near the flagpole. Enjoy the Obstacle Course and Hamster Balls on the playground. Meet Zeus (T-Rex) and Thor (velociraptor). Refreshments can be purchased from Kona Ice and Nicastro’s Wood Fired Pizza

5:30 – 6:15 Ms. Shepard’s Super Science Show in the MPR. Limited seating. Doors open at 5:15.

6:30 – 7:00 Ms. Shepard’s Interactive Science Stations. Explore more with hands on experiments in the MPR.

March 11- CANDEO’S NIGHT OF INSPIRATION: Business owners, Vendors & Crafters are being invited to review the enclosed info for details about how you can be feature your business or products at this year’s event. For a small fee you can reserve a spot. Please go to the front desk for application & details. The application is due NEXT Friday March 10th and space is limited…don’t delay, reserve your spot today!!!

Families that plan to attend the event: the evening will begin at 5:00pm with a $5 entry fee that can be paid at the gate. More details to come.

You’re Invited to Candeo’s Night of Inspiration

This is an Opportunity for Business Owners, Vendors and Crafters.


If you own a business, sell something or have an interest and you would like to share it with the Candeo Community, please join us at

Candeo’s Night of Inspiration in the evening of March 11th.

Table spots are $20 for Candeo PTO Members and $30 for other Candeo Supporters. You can bring your own table and pop up or request them with your registration. Limited quantities are available. Also, space is limited and only available until sold out.

Searching for a Sponsor for this Event

Have you heard the HYPE about the New J.K. Rollings Movie, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”? It’s set in New York City 70 years before Harry Potter started school at Hogwarts. This will probably be the biggest block buster of the year. Candeo is going to be there and we are looking for a sponsor for this awesome upcoming ‘Movie Event’.

Here’s the deal: We have reserved over 400 seats for the 10:00 AM showing at Notterra 14 and we are actively searching for a sponsor for this event.

PTO will be sending out flyers in Wed. Folders on  11/2 and 11/9.  Flyers will also go out to Middle Schoolers. We will also be posting and promoting on our website and on fb at and there will links in the Update that the school sends out weekly.

All flyers and other posts will include the sponsors Name, Website and a Photo or other business info. Just let us know what you would like to include.

Sponsors a can provide unique tickets to the movie if they wish.  This can be as simple as a small paper that says enjoy the movie and them includes your business info.

Sponsors can hand out any coupons or flyers or other promotional items of your choosing at the movie showing.

Sponsors are welcome to offer items for raffle the day of the movie showing.

The movie rental costs Candeo PTO $2,916.00..  We ask that sponsors donate a minimum of $1000 to directly go towards off setting the cost of the movie rental.

Canned PTO will be selling tickets to all Candeo students, families and friends.  Our goal is to have 400+ people in attendance the day of the show.

2nd Grade Families

Hello 2nd Grade Families,
The PTO is excited to work with the 2nd Grade to help treat our teachers and staff to a sandwich & salad luncheon on Wednesday, October 19th. We hope to offer our teachers and staff a variety of homemade or store bought foods and desserts. PTO will be picking the sandwiches up from Walmart.

What ever you bring will be greatly appreciated by the teachers and staff. Label everything that lunch flowersyou want to pick up. Labeled serving plates, bowls and crock pots can be picked up in the “RETREAT” after school or on Monday October 24th.

Please drop off your items at the front office by 10:00 AM.

P.S. Any EXTRAS will be wrapped up for our teachers and staff to take home to share with their families.
